How To Say Your AgeIn this article we are going to teach you how to tell someone how old you are. To say “I’m 22 years old” in French you will say “J’ai vingt-deux ans”. Obviously, you would change the “vingt-deux” to whatever age you are (or want to say you are!) To ask someone the question “how old are you?” in French, you would say “Vous avez quell age?” As you probably know, it can sometimes be rude to ask someone how old they are. A nice thing to say when you ask someone their age is add “sans indiscretion” after you have asked the question. This is the French equivalent of saying “if you don’t mind me asking”, and it’s a much politer way to ask this question. Refer to our article on numbers to find out how to say the exact
number of your age.
