Learn French For ChildrenIn this article we are going to talk about different ways for a child to learn French (or any language). Obviously, the best way for a child to learn a new language is the same way a child learns their native tongue, through immersion. But not everyone can afford to go aboard to interact with people who speak French fluently. Another good way for a child to learn French would be getting them involved in French classes but they can be a little expensive, although they are a very effective way of learning French. So what other options are there for a child who wants to learn French? Well, there are plenty of DVD’s and audio CD’s on the market, plenty of which are specifically for children. |

One of the DVD’s I recommend for children who want to learn French is a DVD’s called “Brainy Baby – French”. This is for children aged 2 to 5 years old (which is a great time for a child to start learning language in general). This DVD covers the basics like colors, numbers and simple phrases. Another good DVD for children is called “French for Kids: Learn French with Penelope and Pezi”. This is a fun and entertaining DVD which your children will love. You should be able to find both of these DVD’s on Amazon. Now, there are many books and audio CD’s out there, but personally I think DVD’s are best for kids. Why? Because a DVD is much more fun and interesting, which is likely to hold your child’s attention for longer. |
