Learning French in France
One of the best ways to learn a new language is
live in a country where they speak it.
So what better place is there to learn
French, than in France?
By living in France, you would
certainly be able to pick up the language much quicker. Why?
Simply because you’ll be exposed to it much more.
You will here people speaking French,
and start to understand what they are talking about. And you
will also have plenty of practice in speaking your new
language!
But if you want to put your French
learning skills into overdrive, you should go to a language
school in France.
One of the best places to learn French
in France is at the “Centre International
d’Antibes”.
This French Language school
offers a variety of courses. You can just do a short program
(which usually starts from around 20 lessons, at 45 minutes
each) all the way to a long program (which usually start around
36 45 minute lessons). This is just a rough guide, however… as
you can find a wide range of courses to suit your
needs.
If you want to study the French
language to this degree, then taking one of these “immersion”
courses is one of the best options.
If you want to learn French in France
as a family (or you’re a teenager and would like to stay in
France to learn French), then many good language schools offer
very short courses during the summer vacation. Although these
courses are quite short in length, you will be amazed at how
much language you can learn in just a 6 week period.
One of the nicest places to take an
immersion course is Paris. Learning French in Paris is probably
one of the most inspiring and interesting places to study the
French language.
One of the best places to learn French
in Paris is the “accord” language school. This is a well
established school that has many happy students. They teach in
two different areas of Paris, so you’ll get chance to see much
of this fine city during your stay in France.
Another popular place to learn French
is in Cannes. If you’re interesting in learning French in
Cannes then you might want to consider the Centre International
d’Antibes. Why? Because this is a very good school, and the
city of Antibes is right in the middle between Cannes and
Nice.
One of the great things about studying
at this language school is its situation. When you’re not
studying, you’ll have some of the most beautiful places in
France (if not the world) to entertain you. Some of the
highlights you’ll find here are the “Juan les Pins” beach, the
national sport of the Cote d’Azur “Petanque” (which is great
fun!), and even just the café terraces.
